Leather, made with integrity.
In order to make good leather, technology is of course necessary, but we think that it is necessary to carry out leather making process carefully, without cutting corners. Leather that is made like this = "good leather" grows with the people who use it and changes to a good expression. On the other hand, the leather made by cutting corner even a little, even if the finish looks the same at first glance, the difference with "good leather" will appear evidently by using it.
Leather is honest. Leather do not lie.
We always care not to lie to leather.
We always want to face leather honestly.
革は嘘をつかない。 革に嘘をつかない。
良い革を作るためには、技術はもちろん必要なのですが、革づくりの工程を、丁寧に、
きちんと、手を抜くことなく行う必要があると考えています。
そうして作られた革＝「良い革」は、使用する人と共に成長し、
良い表情に変化していきます。
対して、少しでも手を抜いて作られた革は、出来上がりが一見同じようでも、使用していくと「良い革」との差は歴然と現れてきます。
革は正直です。革は嘘をつきません。
